Consulting
For over six years, we’ve partnered with orthopaedic practices and ambulatory surgery centers to design and implement successful outpatient joint replacement programs. Our work includes developing strategies such as commercial bundled payments, Medicare shadow bundles, and direct-to-employer bundle programs. Using our proprietary risk assessment tool, we help providers determine which patients are best suited for the ASC versus the hospital setting. To date, we’ve supported clients in more than 25 markets nationwide.
Bundled Payment Contracting
Commercial bundled payments laid the foundation for our success in North Carolina. We developed meaningful contracts with payers that enabled concierge-level case management and accelerated the shift from hospital to ASC. We've helped others replicate this model and scale their programs. We also partnered with a local ACO to create orthopedic-focused Shadow Bundles — a localized version of BPCI — and are now helping others adopt similar value-based models in their regions.
Episode Management Tool
ValereCARE is a digital platform that manages the entire episode of care — from pre-op risk assessment to post-op outcomes. It supports patient navigation, PROM collection, complication tracking, and real-time bundle performance, helping case managers, practices, and ASCs reduce variability, improve patient experience, and scale with confidence.
Transparent Pricing
We work with providers to create transparent pricing options for self-funded employers, faith-based plans, and patients seeking cash-pay alternatives. By keeping care local and costs predictable, we help communities access high-quality joint replacement at a lower price. Through partnerships with employers and organizations like the Free Market Medical Association, we’re expanding our surgeons of excellence model nationwide.
